The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm that same day in the funeral home chapel with burial at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Bo was born on November 30, 1984 to Robert Eugene Johnson, Sr and Linda Darlyne LaPoint Neal at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He was a member at Antioch Baptist Church in Pearl and also attended Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon. Bo had a generous heart and would help anyone no matter what they needed. He had an upbeat demeanor and an energetic personality. Bo enjoyed working with his hands and made a living as a diesel mechanic with the automobile industry. In his free time, he loved going to rock concerts, though Bo was really a lover of all music and listened to almost any genre depending on his mood. Most of all, he cherished his family, and Bo had a sweet side which especially made him a great and beloved uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Eugene Johnson, Sr and grandfather, Ed Edwards.
Bo is survived by his mother, Darlyne LaPoint Neal (David); siblings, Alan Johnson (Kim Broeker), Sommer Ried (Nathan), and David Johnson (Hallie); nieces and nephews, Paige Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Nathan K Ried, Jr, Taiyler Ried, Kaitlyn Ried, and Bailey Ried; grandmother, Sue Edwards; and a host of other beloved extended family members and friends.
Bo will be so dearly missed.
