Mildred was a faithful pastor’s wife for forty-plus years where she graciously served in whatever capacity was needed within the church. In her later years, she was a devoted member of Pearson Road Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School greeter. She and her sisters Nell and Lerlene spent their later widowed years as housemates where, according to Mildred, they giggled every day. The inspiration of these ladies on their families will last for generations to come.
The family would like to express appreciation to West Carroll Nursing Center in Oak Grove, LA and The Oaks in Monroe, LA for their wonderful, loving care of our mom during her last years.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gideon’s International.
