Mildred Kite, 89, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Friday, September 21, 2012 from 12-2pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment at Weir Cemetery.
Mrs. Kite attended the Episcopal Church. She was a retired cosmetologist and member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her cooking skills, especially her famous spaghetti, knitting and crocheting abilities, and her love of reading and fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Boozer of Carthage; grandchildren, Tim Comans, Kim Godfrey, Ricky Comans, Henry Comans, and Ann Steelman; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
