Kenny was born October 6, 1939, in Brockton, Massachusetts, a son of the late Harold F. Johnson and Marguerite Cleverly Johnson.
He enjoyed a lengthy career with the Ironworks Local 7 of Boston, where he was an AWS certified ironworker/welder, and was highly respected in his field. Kenny played an integral role in constructing several buildings and structures throughout Boston and the surrounding areas.
In his free time Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking his boat out, and working on cars. He purchased his family’s first home computer in 1994 and quickly became an avid fan of computer games.
Kenny was a “people person” and liked talking and visiting with people from all walks of life. His innate ability to communicate with others on a personal level and his willingness to help anyone in need endeared him to many.
Kenny’s favorite times were simply spent with his family, especially his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth C. Johnson, and sister, Carol Butler.
Survivors include his wife of almost 64 years, Priscilla Stiles Johnson; son, Stephen D.
