Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Homer was born March 28, 1926, in Beauregard, Mississippi, a son of the late Vernon Myers and Irene Case Myers.
Homer served our country during World War II with the U.S. Navy, and was a member of the Florence Church of Christ. He retired from the Mississippi Forestry Commission after more than 42 years of dedicated service. Following his retirement, Homer enjoyed working in his garden and carpentry, but his favorites times were spent with his beloved family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Myers.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Neva Miley Myers; sons, Darwin Myers and wife Brenda, and Jared Myers and wife Christi; brother, Glenn Myers; sisters, Betty Butler, and Sylvia Parrish and husband Virgil; grandchildren, Bradley Myers and wife Sarah, Olivia Dees and husband David, Houston Ratcliff, Sidney Myers, and Raeanne Myers; and great grandchildren, Hollis and Findley Myers.
