Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
He was born August 15, 1939 in Brandon, Mississippi. Mr. Rhodes was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He retired from Cal-Maine Foods after 35 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Shearer Rhodes, father, Irl Robinson Rhodes, and grandson, Harrison Hawk.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Rhodes; wife, Peggy Johns Rhodes; son, Greg Rhodes and wife Ashley; daughter, Kristi Hawk and husband Damon; brother, Irl Dean Rhodes and wife Brenda; step-sons, James Johns and Roy Johns; 8 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
