Visitation will be from 4:00pm – 8:00pm Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 2:00pm Wednesday in Brady Cemetery, Prentiss.
Mr. Johnson, a native of Philadelphia, has been a resident of Rankin County for 42 years. He was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church, Florence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Exo E. and Navis Johnson; and brother, Daniel E. Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Rose Johnson; son, Gregory Lawrence Johnson (Melissa) of Florence; sister, Sylvia Franklin of Union; and grandchildren, Christian Alexander and Austin Cole Johnson.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Hickory Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 1124 Mullican Road Florence, MS 39073.
