She was born Thursday, August 1, 1929, in Big Creek, Mississippi, a daughter of the late L.C. Thompson and Jakie Boland Thompson. She married her beloved husband, Emerson Tedder, Jr., on April 13, 1947 in Calhoun City.
She and Rev. Tedder were called to our Lord’s ministry in 1959. A dedicated pastor’s wife, Mrs. Tedder had a true heart for service to others and faithfully supported her husband during his tenure as pastor to several churches throughout the state. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Tedder had been a member of First Baptist Church in Pearl for 12 years. Her loving kindness touched so many lives and will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
