Robert W. Miles, 72, passed away on February 8, 2024, in Sharpsburg, GA. He was born in Long Island, NY on April 28, 1951, to the late John and Catherine Miles. Robert was in the US army from 1972 until 1992 and served in Desert Storm. He then was a dispatcher for Fulton County 911 for 15 years and while doing that job was in the US Army reserves from 1998 until 2011. Robert was involved with Southeastern Greyhound Adoption and owned two greyhound which he and his wife adopted. He enjoyed volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and was a member of Senoia Optimist Club.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother, Paul Miles. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Miles; son, Allen Miles; grandchildren, Saffron Miles and Max Miles; and brother, John Miles.
Services will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 149 Ebenezer Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215, on February 17, 2024, at 11:00am. There will be a gathering at the church after the service for family and friends.
