She was born just outside of London, England the only child to the late Annie (King) and Peter Salmon. She immigrated to the US in 1954 with extended family, and settled in Brooklyn, NY. Ann graduated from St. Joseph High School in Brooklyn in 1969 and worked as a legal assistant for over 40 years in Manhattan, Syracuse, Penfield, and finally in Atlanta.
Ann was a devoted wife, loving mother and nana, often expressing her affection through her outstanding cooking. She was also an avid sports fan, supporting Syracuse University sports for decades. Most of all, she cherished time with her family and friends. From trips to Brooklyn, Winchendon, Mountain Lakes, North Port, or Chesapeake. Ann enjoyed making everyone feel at home and loved.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Phillip; son, Jimmy (Lucy); daughter, Trish (Ryan); 3 grandchildren, Quinton, Annie, and Thomas; numerous cousins both here in the US and in Ireland; as well as many special friends.
