Bill was born in Santa Cruz, CA on June 19, 1932 to parents Bill & Emma Pinkham.
He was preceded in death by his son Ricky, his sister Sally and brother Bob.
Bill & Helen, his wife of 60 years moved to Payette from California in 1979. At first, Bill wasn’t to thrilled to be living in such a small community, but after a year he loved it.
He was an avid fisherman, belonged to several fishing clubs and entered numerous tournaments. One tournament he won a Ranger Boat which he took pictures of as proof of his fishing ability. Brownlee Reservoir was the favorite fishing place where he shared lots of fun times with his friends there.His second love was his garden which he shared with friends and family.
Bill loved many family dogs in his life, but his last dog Scooter was special because he was his fishing partner.
He is survived by his wife Helen, daughters Sherie & Terri of California and 5 grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, January 16th at 11:00am at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, 112 N. 9th Street, Payette.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
