Brenda L. Angel

Brenda L. Angel, age 75, of Columbus, returned to her Creator on Saturday, November 9, 2024 after waging a courageous battle with cancer. Brenda was born on January 25, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Licking Heights High School in 1967 and later attended nursing training. Brenda loved to travel, had an adventurous spirit, and was a bit of a prankster. She attended the Livingston Avenue Baptist Church. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, to whom she was “fun Aunt Brenda.”

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Earl D. and Helen J. Angell, sister, Ruth Angell-Joyce, and nephew, Scott Byers. She is survived by her husband, Hendry Samuthram of Columbus; sister, Carol Angell of Columbus; brother, Robert (Elaine) Angell of Gahanna; nephews, Gregg (Christine) Byers of Columbus, Mike (Carin) Mullins of Columbus, Andy (Julie) Click of Charleston, Illinois, and Jeff (Chelsey) Angell of Worthington; nieces, Tina (Jeremy) Rager of Delaware, Carrie (Matt) Lowis of Westerville; great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, Ohio 43062, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Jersey Cemetery, 12239 Morse Rd. SW, Pataskala, Ohio, in the village of Jersey, Chaplain Emmanuel Samuthram officiating.
