Barbara A. "Grandmom" Truex, 84 of Pataskala, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2017 with her family by her side. Barbara was born October 16, 1932 in Michigan to the late Chester and Marian Maurer. She was a longtime supporter of Watkins Memorial Athletic Association Moms Club and the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, James (Stephanie) Truex, Jack (Annette) Truex, John (Karen) Truex, Terri (Dennis) Nixon and Jerry (Terrie) Truex,
17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Darrell Truex and parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will follow the service at
Glen Rest Memorial Estates in Reynoldsburg. Friends may visit Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Barbara's memory to Watkins Memorial Athletic Association.
