Just saw WH for only the second time in  50 years. Can't tell you why. I must have clicked a few dozen Netflix titles before coming back to that one.  And this time around, it was the boy who played young Heathcliff who made the biggest impression on me. What a wonderful representation of boyhood! I'm shattered that his passing was less than a year ago. But, I'm comforted that his family and descendants will always have this great performance to remember him by.

Olivier's 'Wuthering Heights' touched my soul long, long ago.   Though  it saddens me to read of the young Heathcliff's passing,  I like to believe Rex knew he had gained a form of immortality due to this classic film, truly "a film for the ages".  ...Godspeed, Rex!

I just watched Wutherings Heights for the millionth time and wondered about the wonderful actor who had played the young Heathcliff. After searching online, I noticed he had recently passed. I hope his long life was full of love. May he Rest In Peace. 

Rex and Donna would come into Joe's quite often. They were two peas in a pod. When Donna passed he would come in once a week i believe. I looked forward to seeing Rex and would make sure to chat with him everytime he came to eat if i was working that day. He always talked about his Donna. He even signed a picture and gave it to me of him in his younger days when he acted in a movie. He will be missed dearly. RIP rex ❤

Just now found out about Rex's death. He and Donna were kind, warmhearted people. Donna was my stepfather's sister and only sibling.

Memories of them are some of the warmest and most meaningful of my life."l

Rex was a long time patient of mine along with his wife Donna. They are solely missed❤️❤️❤️❤️
