Anyone who has spent a day in a conference room with Monyeen would understand completely why Keith fell in love with her.  I have spent hundreds of hours with her in those not particularly hospitable settings, and she was unfailingly skilled, loving, tough, charming, and a master of the withering look when a witness or attorney misbehaved.  No one could master any of those skills let alone demonstrate all of them flawlessly in the same hour.

I remember an NCRA article about her and Keith’s love of the motorcycle entitled “A Court Reporter hits the Open Road.”  My only small solace is imagining our darling Monyeen on her Harley heading out on that endless expanse leading to the Great Beyond with her beautiful smile and her “life’s-the-journey-not-the-destination” look. Text us when you get there, Mo.  We love you.


Mo, you are everywhere in my daily life as a reporter. Thank you for teaching me to be the reporter I am. Thank you for caring enough to share your knowledge and for setting the bar so high. I love you and miss you. Keith, thank you for sharing her with us. You two are adorable and I’m so sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace, friend. Your work is done now❤️

Mo was such a smart, funny, accomplished woman.  Everyone who knew her is deeply saddened by her passing.  My condolences to all of her family and friends and especially to Keith.  

My deepest sympathies to the family.  I was so saddened to hear the news.  Though we only met once in person, I was so impressed with  her dedication and fresh ideas to the profession.  She is going to be missed.  

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Even though I only knew her through Facebook court reporter groups, her grit, determination and love of life made me love and respect her so much.  Thanks to you, Keith, for updating us and taking such loving care of your amazing wife.  You two were very lucky to have each other.  May she Rest In Peace.
