Winfield Thomas Hand, age 90, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. Winfield Thomas Hand was born on June 10, 1932 in Galesburg, Illinois. He moved, with his family, to Tempe, Arizona. After serving as an electrician on the aircraft carrier USS Valley Forge during the Korean war, he made his home in Houston, Texas.
He married Virginia Louise Weathers on June 2, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Virginia pre-deceased him on January 6, 2012.
He is survived by children Steven S. Hand and Sandra L. Hand. He is also survived by sister Carolyn (Bill) McSpadden, and brothers David (Janet) and Richard (Lois). He is also survived by his pups Yogi and BooBoo.
He was known for his willingness to help anyone he was able to help. He was a huge Astros fan.
He will be greatly missed
