William J. Morris (Bill) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4th. He was born in Lone Oak, TX, on September 6, 1927. Bill is survived by Iris, his wife of 65 years, daughters Edna Mattox and Martha Cotton and her husband Charles Cotton. He was blessed with four grandchildren, William Farrell, Bryan Cotton, Amber Condry, Josh Mattox and one great granddaughter, Hannah Farrell. Bill was a WW II Army Veteran, a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church, a charter member of Pipefitters Local Union 211 and a longtime resident of Pasadena.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 9th, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Services will follow at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Grand View Memorial Park.
