Robert was born April 25, 1937 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He was proceeded in death by his parents Robert Elbert and Jenni Mae Lomax and one brother Luther Lomax. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Bowman Lomax, one daughter Robin Lomax Petty and sons Robert Tyson Lomax and Lucian Murphy Lomax, one granddaughter Tia Faleishia McBrien (Damien McBrien) and two great granddaughters Brianaa Rose McBrien and Blakley Aleece McBrien.
A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
