Pam the loss of a parent is so hard but know that for believers, death is not an ending; it is a beginning.  For believers, the grave is not a final resting place, it is a place of transition.  For believers, death is not a dark journey into nothingness; it is a homecoming.  As quoted by Anne Graham Lotz - "Considering how we prepare for our own children when we know they are coming home, we ought to love to think of the preparations God is making for our homecoming one day.  He knows the colors we love, the scenery we enjoy, the things that make us happy, all the personal details."  Pam, may you find peace knowing that your Mom is at Home walking the Streets of Gold with Jesus.  My prayers are with you.

Pam, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  You have been in my prayers for so long during this ordeal.  I know you will be able to get through this with time.  You have been such a wonderful and attentive daughter.  God bless you.

Even though I had not seen your Mother for quite a few years, I will never forget her coming to the hospistal when LaShawn was born and made those nurses remove all of the blankets so she could make sure she had 10 fingers and 10 toes. Dear Grandma Manley, I am going to miss you so much.
