Peggy was employed in September 1996 at Deer Park ISD where she worked in the food production for 15 years at Bonnette Jr. High School, retiring in December 2011. She loved her family and would always look forward to spending time with them at any moment for every occasion, her grandchildren most of all. She loved watching TV, from the morning news and afternoon soaps to all of her favorite evening shows. In the past few years, Peggy loved to go cruising, especially since there was a casino on board. She did love to play the slots, always leaving with a smile -winning or losing.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Peggy was her husband, Rocky G. Flores; her parents, Rufus and Eula Quebodeaux; and her brothers, Terry D. Quebodeaux and Steven Quebodeaux.
Loved ones that will miss Peggy until they meet again are her daughter, Patricia Hanna and husband Ben Van Alystne, her son, Rocky Flores, Jr.; six grandchildren, Tanner Flores, Jaxson Flores, Isabella (Bella Claire) Flores, Timothy Hanna, Christoper Hanna, and Brett Van Alystne; and her sisters, Debra Richard and Linda Trahan; and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends, and her precious Fur-baby, Nikki.
Peggy Marie Flores was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother, very much loved, is missed and will always be cherished.
In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Peggy's name to The Rose - Peggy was a Breast Cancer Survivor. She loved and believed in Dr. Dixie Melillo and The Rose.
