Paul was born on August 23, 1935, in Asheville, North Carolina to John & Maime Clark.
Paul was the youngest son of the Clark family with many brothers & sisters.
The early part of his life, including his childhood, was spent in North Carolina, where he met and married the love of his life Margo Taylor. After having their first two children, Paul & Margo head to Texas, for a better life with everything they owned in one car.
In 1966, after a lawnmower accident, Paul was faced with the challenges of losing three of his fingers on his left hand. This did not slow him down but resulted in him becoming a stronger man.
Paul worked many jobs to provide for his family. After taking a job with the chemical plants, Paul moved his family to Pasadena Texas, remaining there for over 30 years.
In 1982, he was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor at American Hoechst Corporation and soon him and Margo moved to La Porte, Texas. He retired in 2001 from Nova Chemical, after a great successful career.
Paul loved being in the woods hunting, traveling, and playing in the Casinos.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings and his son in laws Dale Hartel and Dan Staley.
Paul is survived by is wife Margo of 64 years: daughter Christine and husband Louis Guidroz of Santa Fe, son Paul Jr and wife Kathy of Bacliff, daughter Murline Staley of Pasadena, and adopted daughter Judy Evans of Houston, four-legged baby Buddy, and nephew Matthew Taylor.
Grandchildren- Amy and Eric Aguilar, Paul III and Casie Clark, Angela and David Mounts, Amber Mitchell and Kevin Gentry, Bridget and Charlie Hemmeline, Misty and Jared Magby, Angie Clark and Shelton Skains, Angela and Les Perkins, Margo Staley and William Diffenderffer.
Great Grandchildren-Autumn and Addison Aguilar, Annie, Abby and Allyssa Clark, Kevin Gentry Jr., Alex and Ashlynn Skains, Tyler Keels, Paisley Hemmeline, Hunter Guidroz, Brittney McCall, Arya Magby, Makenzie and Brennan Mounts, Logan and Emma Perkins.

The family is incredibly grateful for Brenda Taylor for spending each night by his side and the compassion and support from Tonya Blanton, Caitlyn Carter, and Cynthia Okoro from Baywood Crossing during his final journey.
A Celebration of life will be on Friday, December 2nd, at the Pasadena Funeral Home. Visitation at 12:00 pm with Services at 1:00 pm Graveside Burial will be at Grand View Cemetery followed with a fellowship dinner at LifeBridge Baptist Church: 2709 Kingsdale Dr. Deer Park, TX.
