Michael was born on March 7, 1948, in Pasadena, Texas to Horace and Bernice Pearson. He devoted his life to serving his country in the United States Air Force, where he proudly completed his service with honor and integrity. His commitment to duty was matched only by his love for his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Nalowen with whom he shared more than 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Vanessa and Joseph, who carry forward his legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication.
A man of many passions, Michael found joy in hunting and fishing, often spending weekends in nature with family and friends. He was an avid baseball fan, cheering on his favorite teams with fervor. Known for his quick wit, Michael loved sharing jokes and playing pranks, bringing laughter and joy to all those around him. He had an infectious laugh and a heart that welcomed everyone. He was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
Michael’s warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Michael. Your legacy of love and service will forever be cherished.
Visitation for Michael will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A Rosary will be prayed Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Mass beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 816 Park Drive, La Porte, Texas 77571.
