Martina Cabrales Cardenas

Martina Cardenas, 52, of Pasadena, Texas entered into eternal peace on Saturday, May 28, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends who were touched in some small way through out her very, memorable life. Martina married Eugene Cardenas on September 11, 1994. She worked for Sears Department store in the optical department for over 15 years, displaying a wonderful knack for helping people. Martina truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and spending time with her family. Martina had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way and never met a stranger. She has an outgoing awesome sense of humor and fun personality. She is preceded in death by parents, Florencio and Maria De Jesus Cabrales; brother Joe Cabrales and sisters’ Mary Cabrales and Lupe Zepeda. She is survived by loving husband, Eugene Cardenas; baby Lucky; her daughter Angelica Castaneda and son-in-law Jason; 3 beautiful granddaughters Jasmine, Amethyst, and Lilly Castaneda; brothers’ John Cabrales (Mary), Lawrence Cabrales, and Jesse Cabrales; sisters’ Reyna Perez (Elias), Paula Cabrales (Ralph), and Blanche Mendoza(Pollo) and Janet Cabrales ; and 2 best friends, Pauletta Martinez and Priscilla Rivera, along with other family members, numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, goddaughters and a god son. She will greatly be missed.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Martina’s favorite niece Priscilla Soza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Grand View Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow at The Garden of Bethany at Grand View Memorial Park.
