Martha Y. Martinez

Martha was born on January 31, 1961 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Leonel Martinez and Ernestina Sanchez. Martha resided in Galveston, Texas and Houston, Texas.

She received her high school diploma from Houston Technical Institute. After working in customer service, she went back to school, Houston Community College, and received an Associates in Accounting. This accomplishment was a milestone for Martha. She actually was promoted to the Accounting Department at AFH, where she first worked as an accountant. Afterwards, she worked as an accountant at MLN and Perry Homes. Martha believed in God, prayed and confessed only to him. She had many various interests including sewing, painting, cooking, and baking. She sold many masks to her friends and co-workers. She likes to paint furniture, too.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents. Those left to treasure her memory are her older sister, Irma J. Martinez; her boyfriend of 20 years Armando Verde; her special friends Maria Saenz, Fabian Gonzalez, and Felipe Patino; and her many friends from AFH, MLN, and Perry Homes.
