Mrs. Martha Elisa Buenrostro

Martha was a devoted wife to Jaime A. Buenrostro Sr., with whom she shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. Her legacy of love extended to her four children: Aide, Ulisses, Crystal, and Jaime Jr., as well as her cherished grandchildren: Alexis, Aaron, Nevaeh, and Maximus and her fur grandbabies: Baxter Penny, Doug, Scout, Oliver, Charlie, and Lincoln. She was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Rosalie, who brought her immense joy.

Martha dedicated 25 years to her career at the University of Houston, where she was known for her kindness and commitment to her work. She was also a devoted member of Bethania Asamblea de Dios, where she found strength and community in her faith.

An avid gardener, Martha took great pleasure in nurturing her plants, much like she nurtured her family. Her passion for baking and cooking filled her home with love and warmth, and she was always eager to share her culinary creations with loved ones. Martha had a special place in her heart for animals taking the time to feed dogs and cats in her neighborhood, always showing kindness to those in need.

Martha is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, in-laws: Arturo, Laura, Miguel, Lori, and Danny, and her six brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother - Anastacio Garcia and her fur grandbabies - Kingston and Rex.

Martha’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
