Judy Ann Womble

Judy Ann Womble was born October 1st, 1944, in Groesbeck, Texas to the late Walter Douglas and Betty Euleta Andrews Allen. She passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Judy’s family moved to the Houston area in 1955. While in the 5th grade, her family moved to Galena Park, Texas. Judy attended school in Galena Park where she graduated from Galena Park High School class of 1963. She met and married the love of her, Marvin Womble in 1964. Marvin enlisted in the United States Airforce, and they moved to Belleville, Illinois for her husband’s service to our country. In 1966, Judy and Marvin had a child, Russell Womble. Shortly after his birth they moved back to Galena Park, where she lived the rest of her life. She attended San Jacinto Jr. College and went to work for Galena Park State Bank, retiring in 1988. Judy then became the office Manager for Coastal Spray Company. She retired from there in 2012 after 24 years. January 9, 2025, Marvin and Judy would have been married for 60 years.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her husband Marvin Womble; her son Russell Womble and wife Angie; her Granddaughters Casey McCumber and husband Caleb, Jayme Gorka and husband Eric, and Baylee Trammell and husband Nate; her seven great-grandchildren, Cade, Kyndall, Dylan, Luke, Logan, Marlee & Presley; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Though she is no longer with us, the memories of Judy live on in our hearts forever.

Special thank you to Linda Brackeen for all her support to Judy during her sickness.Special mention to her Andrew’s family, and to her Philley family! Judy spent her adult life making sure her family’s needs were taken care of.All her family knew she loved them unconditionally.

A graveside service will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, United States. The service is scheduled for December 27, 2024, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
