Joseph Farrugia of La Porte Texas passed away peacefully in his home October 30, 2021 at the age of 88.
Joe is survived by his wife Barbara Farrugia, his sister Jane, his children Amy Jones and spouse Trent Jones, Kim Picou and spouse Tony Picou and Arnold McGill and spouse Dena McGill. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Marc Farrugia, mother Carmela Farrugia, Father Carmelo Farrugia, sister Mitzia, brother Tony, brother George and sister Nelly. Joe was born in Malta November 17, 1932. He came to the United States where he met and married Barbara. He was a devoted spouse and father. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Joe was very close with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and volunteered often with his church in the community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
