Gilbert Ray Kasparek, Jr., 78, of Pasadena, Tx, passed away February 24, 2023. He was born in San Diego, Ca on February 29, 1944 to Gilbert and Minnie Kasparek. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Kasparek of Pasadena, Tx whom he married in 1990.
He is also survived by his Brother, Philip Kasparek and brother-in-law Rod Peters of Palm Springs, Ca. Sister-in-law, Charlotte and husband Danny Modisette of Tyler, Tx. Nieces, Monica and her husband Ryan Luxon and Tracy Kasparek of Austin, Tx and Jennifer and her husband Dayton Cox of The Woodlands, Tx. Nephew, Rick and wife Tori Modisette of Lindale, Tx. Great nieces, Grace Luxon, Chloe Modisette and Madison Cox. Great nephews, Raleigh Luxon, Logan Elaguizy, Casen Modisette and Daniel Cox.
Gil had a passion for classic cars, signs, coin operated machines and was an avid collector of model trains and toys. Daniel and Gil shared a very special bond with Lionel trains. He is also survived by a host of life long friends including Jim Pace along with extended family and one daughter.
Serving as pallbearers are Rick Modisette, Casen Modisette, Dayton Cox, Ryan Luxon, John Costa, Robert Cook. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Cox, Jim Pace, Frank Wyatt, Charles Roberson, Junior Karsten, Dwain James, Carl Reyna, Jim Bain.
