George Martin Villarreal

George Martin Villarreal at the age of 71 passed away in Pasadena Tx, on June 24, 2024. He was born in Markham Tx, on January 5, 1953. To the parents Daniel Villarreal and Gregora Losoya. He was happily married to Patricia for 39 years.

George was a Naval Officer for 12 years and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended the University of Houston and obtain a B.A. and a Masters in Administration and Supervision. He built his career with HISD for 25 years.

George’s greatest passion was to read but his love for teaching others was his greatest gift. His greatest joy was when it came to his attention that any of his former students would come back and thank him for the encouragement that he provided as a teacher, that gave them the opportunity to excel in life.

George is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Manuel. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia, son’s Albert(Regina), Andrew(Stephanie), and daughter Gwendolyn(Spencer). Grandchildren Allizae, Abby, Olivia, Sophie, Khole, Gabby, Ariel, Christopher, Dominic, Aaleyah, Andrew Jr., Jalynn, Julius, Spencer III., Maddox, and Jameson. Great granddaughters Audrey, and Avery. His siblings Emily, Daniel, Ruben, Carolyn, Dolores, Hector, and his many nieces and nephews.

We as a family have decided to fulfill our father’s last request to return his ashes to his most beloved place.

A celebration of George’s life will be Tuesday July 2, 2024 @ 5:00 P.M. at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer hwy, Pasadena, Tx, 77505.
