David F Barta born to BC and Anastasia Barta on September 15,1940 in Wallis, Texas, passed away on January 22, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Eugene Barta.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Loretta Barta of Deer Park, Texas; his daughter Lisa Anne Fuller and husband Andrew Fuller of Grapeland, Texas; sons Mark Barta of Deer Park, Texas and Ted Barta and wife Jennifer of League City, Texas; his brother Charlie Barta of Rosenberg, Texas; his two sisters Bernice Brast of Wallis, Texas and Gloria McCain of Eagle Lake, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 nephews and 8 nieces.
David married Loretta Housewright on August 10, 1963 in Houston, Texas. David went to work at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in May of 1964 and retired after 32 years of service in 1991.
He was very proud of his Czech heritage and enjoyed his many trips with his wife to visit friends and family in the Czech Republic.
He loved music, gardening, woodworking, and painting but most of all, his time spent with all of his family.
David will be laid to rest at a later date.
