Barbara Jean Simpson, 77, passed away on February 28, 2013 in Pasadena, TX. She was born on October 7, 1935 in Baytown, TX to Oscar and Eleanor Langston. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Clark Langston. She is survived by mother Connie Cook; children, Sally Hedrick, Andy Simpson and wife Julie, and Valerie Simpson; grandchildren, Austin Simpson, Jessi and Steve Goss, Marie Hedrick; sister-in-law Vicki Langston; special friends Alice Williams and her children and grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Barbara was a part of the Senior Net Family, volunteered at Deer Park Library, loved to play board games and word puzzles. She was a very forgiving, loving and spiritual person who was loved by many and will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.
