Aria Magdalena Arrona

Aria Magdalena Arrona of La Porte, TX passed away peacefully with her parents by her side on December 28th, 2019. She was born December 31st, 2003 in Webster, TX to Salvador & Deborah Arrona. Aria was in 9th grade at La Porte High School in La Porte ISD where she was a straight A student.

Aria was a member of Life Community Church with her family and attended The House youth ministry. She loved praise and worship music and singing to the Lord in her own way. As a person living with multiple disabilities, Aria was an advocate and representative for several organizations including Protect TX Fragile Kids, Journeyfest, March of Dimes Houston and Bay Area Houston Habitat for Humanity. She was also a frequent donor to Locks of Love and most recently to LifeGift Houston. Her donation for transplant will help upwards of 50 people with bone issues, save 2 people with congenital heart defects and help 2 people living with blindness see again!

Aria loved baking, bowling, strolls outside, movies, music and going to Morgan’s Wonderland in San Antonio, TX. As a non-verbal individual, Aria could still speak volumes with a breath and her smile lit up every room she was in! She had a world changing radiance, a kind compassionate heart and was a good friend and confidant to anyone who knew her.

Aria is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gilbert Martinez. She is survived by her parents Salvador & Deborah Arrona; grandparents Roberto Sr. & Jan Arrona and Debbie Martinez; great-grandparents Eugenio & Eva Rodriguez, Ignacio & Irene Chapa and Esther Cazares; aunts and uncles, Roberto Jr. & Fabiola Arrona, Anthony Arrona, Evie Arrona, Robert Jr. & Desiree Lafrance and Manuel & Demetria Garcia; cousins Robert Lafrance III, Skyla Arrona, Roberto Arrona III, Elijah Arrona, Gaia Oehlert and Everly Harrelson along with many more beloved family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 6-8PM and the funeral service will commence at 11AM on Saturday, January 4, 2020. All services will take place at Life Community Church located at 9529 W Fairmont Pkwy, La Porte, TX 77571. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park located at 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations will be accepted by the family.
