Virginia was born March 17, 1932, in Reynoldsville in Harrison County, W.Va., to David E. and Nellie G. Ford Bonnell.
She attended Doddridge County High School. After working at several sewing factories in Parkersburg she retired from the Board of Education as Cook at Parkersburg High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her favorite interests were church, sports and gospel music, especially the Gaither Family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years who devoted his life to her, Ralph Ringer of Parkersburg; son, Dwight Ringer (Katie) of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Becky Cook (Carl) of Vienna; and two grandchildren, Kassandra Ringer of Frisco, Colo., Karri Cook Williams (Matt) of Cambridge, Ohio and sister Alma Lee Halker of Marietta, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Corbit; brothers, Lloyd and Eugene Bonnell; and one grandson, Cameron Ringer.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Eagle Point for their compassion and care.
Per Virginia's wishes there will be no visitation. The family will gather to celebrate her life at a later date.
