Russell F. Richards

Russell Franklin Richards, 84, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away at WVU Medicine Camden Clark on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. He was born in Greenwood, Doddridge Co, on February 7, 1939 to the late Okey Richards and Luella Norman. He had an interest for working on vehicles, weed eaters, lawn mowers and enjoyed mowing.

Surviving Russell is his children; Kimberly Ann Tibbs, Sarah Jean (Robert) Vance; Grandchildren, Stacy Clark, Russell Vance, Melissa Dornon, Robert Vance JR., Leigh Naylor, Billie Tibbs; 17 Great-Grandchildren, Makayla Parsons, Dalton Waggoner, Calista Clark, James Dornon, Jolina Waggoner, Katie Clark, Annie Naylor, Whitney Dornon, Jocelynn Naylor, Hailey Vance, Noah Naylor, Kylie Vance, Addison Brooks, Chevlynn Lancaster, William Naylor, Riverlynn Buskirk, Kimberlynn Buskirk.

Along with his parents, Russell is proceeded in death by his wife, Sandra Jean Richards; Daughter, Kellie Keesecker; 5 Brothers, Howard, Chester, Herburt, Albert and Curtis Richards; 3 Sisters, Margaret Boggs, Doris Thomas, Jerry Byers, Nelly; and 2 pet yorkies, Angel and Vinny

Visitation will be Monday, September 25th, 2023 at 11am – 1pm with Funeral Service following at 1pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
