Paul Fredrick Muntz

Paul Fredrick Muntz, 93, formerly of Lakeland, Florida passed away on December 4, 2024 at Elison assisted Living and Memory Care in Marietta, Ohio with his family by his side. He was born on August 11, 1931 to the late Fredrick and Matilda Arnold Muntz. Paul served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He retired from United Engineers in 1986. He found joy in life's simple pleasures often taking long walks and took pride in staying fit into his nineties. He loved spending time and playing cards with his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on lawn mowers and would mow a lot of his neighbor's yards out of the goodness of his heart.

Paul is survived by his two sons; Paul (Angie) Muntz of Newport, Ohio and Mark (Donna) of Marietta, Ohio, as well as three beloved grandchildren Chris Muntz of Arlington, Virginia, Josh Muntz of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Madison Muntz of Marietta, Ohio.

He is also survived by his special friend of many years Mary Collie of New Hampshire. His family will forever cherish the memories and lessons he shared. He is preceded in death by his brothers Joseph Muntz, Dale Muntz, and Wilbur Muntz and sisters Mary Pabst, Helen Dye, Leila Murray, and Leona Muntz.

The family would also like to thank the staff at Elison along with Amedisys Hospice Care for the loving care they gave to Paul.

Honoring Paul's wishes, there will be no formal service. he will be cremated, and his family will hold him close their hearts as they celebrate his life in their own way.
