He was born October 13, 1949, in Parkersburg, WV, the oldest son of the late Everett and Ruth Ramsey Tallman. Ken worked at the Sheltered Workshop for many years. He was a member and worshipped with the Lubeck Church of Christ from the time the church met at Lubeck. Ken enjoyed WVU football and basketball, word search puzzles, traveling with his family, watching trains and being around various family cats over the years.
Ken is survived by a sister, D. Kaye-Tallman-Swingle (Alan) of Lubeck, E. Keith Tallman (Barbara) of Apopka, FL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday November 20, 2024 at 1 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with ministers Steve Fuchs and Ed Melott officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
The family would like to give a “special thanks” to the staff, nurses, and all those who knew Ken at Cedar Grove. Your expressions of care, love, and comfort will not be forgotten.
