Helen Louise Hendershot-Davis, 77, of Parkersburg, passed away Apr. 25, 2011 at Camden-Clark Medical Center-Memorial Campus.
She was born Mar. 8, 1934 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late Ray Charles and Ethel Shaver. She was a machine operator for Challenger Electric, a member of Relay for Life, the Red Hat Society, and she was a cancer survivor.
She is survived by one son, Waitman Ray (Brenda) Hendershot of Parkersburg; three daughters, Linda Louise (Jim) Varner, Kimberly Sue (Darrell) Coe, and Jennifer Lynn (Dana) Hall, all of Parkersburg; one step-daughter, Betty Ann (Bob) Davis, also of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Melissa (Charles) Keyse, Corey Waitman Coe, Chase Alexander Coe, Richard Chipps, Jr., Becky (Travis) Alloway, and Jeremy (Jessica) Hall; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, William Shaver of Fairmont, and Richard Shaver of Parkersburg; and one sister, Beverly Henderson of Fairmont .
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Elzie Waitman Hendershot; two brothers, Thomas and Charles Shaver; and one sister, Jeanie Wilford.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
