Gary was a good man. No matter the situation or outcome Gary would always try to help out whoever he could when-ever he could. I knew Gary since i was about 7 or 8 years old and he was my "Papaw" i have tons of memories with him and about him and could share stories about him forever...im saddened to hear of the loss of this man he was without a doubt a great man! He may not have been blood to me but Gary will always be "Papaw" to me! Gonna miss you Papaw! Love ya!

Gary was a very special uncle and whenever you were around him, you could expect some great stories and excitement.

Years ago, during a family outing in Grandma Frazier's back yard, Gary set off some fireworks.  Because of the unexpected loud noise, our young daughters, Marie and Katie, became very excited and a just a little scared.  Their mother Karen said, "I think we should call Gary Uncle Boom-Boom!  From that time on Gary was lovingly known as "Uncle Boom-Boom!"

What a great unselfish guy!  He always had a big smile and was willing to help anyone in time of need.  Gary kept his family and friends laughing with his funny stories and had a never give up approach to life.   We will miss you, Gary, and we will never forget you.

My brother Gary was quite famous for his storytelling. His stories were about his life and times, always funny. I've heard these stories many times over the last fifty plus year, funny thing is the facts seemed to change each time he told them which made them even more amusing. My brother was a good-hearted person, I can remember on more than one occasion he would by Christmas presents for kids who he knew would not have presents to open on Christmas morning. He has kept my cars on the road since 1967, of course I got the family and friends discount as did all his customers. But my fondest memory of my brother Gary happened about three weeks or so ago. Gary just started under Hospice care when Connie called on Wednesday evening after church and told me if I wanted to see Gary I better get over here. On the way I asked the Holy Spirit to speak through me what He wanted me to say, and He did. I talked to Gary for a few minutes and Connie asked Gary  "do you want Greg to pray for you" and Gary said" yes".  As I was praying for him, I opened my eyes and looked into his and said "Gary do you know Jesus" and he said "yes I know Jesus". Then I said "Gary is Jesus your Lord and Savior" and he "yes, Jesus is my Lord and Savior." Then I knew he had accepted Jesus. You see, many months before when Russ Smith and I shared the gospel with Gary I never had real peace that he did. That Wednesday night I had peace in my heart that I would see Gary in Heaven one day along with his son David. My question to you is, do you know Jesus? It's never to late. Gary is not only my blood brother, but more importantly he is my Brother in Christ.

Sorry for hear about Gary passing away. Gary was always a great guy when I stop and talked to him and when he worked on my cars. He always seemed to be there when we need help with fixing something.

My sympathies to the family and of course to Connie.  I met Gary through a friend., who told me he was his trusted mechanic. Over the years Gary worked on several of the vehicles I had owned. Not one time, did I ever  have to take a vehicle back. He was always both  honest and reasonable with everyone.  Both of us being WVU fans, we would often sit in his garage and discuss both WVU football and basketball . I miss Gary's stories he would tell as well, with his great sense of humor.
