Tommy Ray Clay, 55, of Paris, passed away at his home, Saturday, June 25, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Calvary Methodist Church with Reverend Ben Read and Reverend Terry Rogers officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 pm in Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas. There is no formal visitation, however Mr. Clay will lie in repose at the funeral home until 8:00 pm, Tuesday evening. Tommy was born July 26, 1960 in Winnsboro to Joe Dan Clay and Patsy Jane Arrington. He was the Meat Market Manager at Brookshires Food Store for 27 years. Tommy was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Paris. His grandchildren were the love of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Justin Clay and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Teresa Copeland Clay of Paris; one son, Jason Clay & wife Tiffany of Paris; grandchildren, Landree Clay, Riley Clay, Cayleb Clay and Mila Grace Clay; sisters, Brenda Stone & husband Tony of Winnsboro and Kristy Biedenharn of Gilmer, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
