Todd Michael Welch, 25, of Paris, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Medical City Plano. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled funeral services for 10:00 am, Friday, April 12, 2019 at The United Pentecostal Church in Paris with Reverend Robert Myre and Reverend Caleb Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Todd was born August 13, 1993 in Denison, Texas to Todd and Jolanda (Jodi) Burch Welch. He was employed as a welder at PJ Trailers, where his natural skill showed in the quality of his work. Todd’s love for skateboarding goes beyond description. He loved the sport immensely, second only to his love for his Lord, his church and his family. Todd was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Welch and his grandfather, Garner Burch. Survivors include his parents; one brother, James Andrew Welch & wife Kaleigh of the Gadston Community; a grandfather, James Welch of Richardson; a grandmother, Martha Burch of North Carolina; 2 uncles, Mark Welch of Richardson and Michael David Burch of Lawton, OK; 3 aunts, Shelia Richardson of North Carolina, Sharonda Denney & husband Lyle of Indiana and Lori Wallace & husband Timothy of North Carolina along with a host of friends.
