Donna Seals Archer

Donna Seals Archer, 61, of Paris, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Don Graham & Rev. Harvey Blackshear officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery at Taylortown. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Donna, the daughter of George & Louise Shockley Seals, was born May 14, 1953, in Paris. She graduated from North Lamar High School where she made many lifelong friends. Donna was a faithful member of Highway Full Gospel Church. She and her husband, Sammy, owned & operated Archer’s Florist for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her father, George Seals, a brother, Richard Seals, her mother-in-law, Mrs. Dverle (Donna) Archer and a nephew, Justin Dale Archer. Survivors include her husband, Sammy, whom she married on Nov. 26, 1971, building forty-three years of family and memories, her mother, Louise Seals of Paris, a son, Brad Archer & wife Lisa of Paris, a daughter, Aimee McQuaid & husband Martin of Roanoke, grandchildren, Max & Jake Archer and Samantha, Katy & Benjamin McQuaid, her father-in-law, Rev. Dverle Archer of Paris, a brother, Kenneth Seals & wife Myra of Pattonville, a sister, Carol Curry of Paris, sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Annie Seals of Wylie, Eddie & Carie Archer of Paris and Dvonnie & Shane Saffell of Paris along with several nieces & nephews and a plethora of friends. Casket bearers will be: Eddie Archer, Jeremy Archer, Ben Brazeal, Shane Saffell, Lawrence Malone, Drew Miller, Jayme Sanders and Justin Meusel.
