Charles B. Robison, 68, of Deport, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services on Saturday, Nov. 29th, at 10:30 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Deport with William St. John, Tim Byrd and Ewell Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Robison, the son of Harland & Vesta Steele Robison, was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Clemscott, OK. He worked a number of years in the oil field before beginning his career at Campbell Soup Company which spanned ten years before his retirement. Charles was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Veniece, a brother, Ancel Robison and two sisters, Glenette Newman and Anna Lair. Survivors include his wife, Lavina Gail Byrd Robison, whom he married in 1972, building forty-two years of family and memories, four children, Melanie Robison of Pattonville, Ina Bullard & husband Steven of Little Elm, Angela Rosson & husband Charles of Broken Bow, OK and Charles M. Robison of Deport, five grandchildren, Jared, Zachery, Marissa, David and Alex along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
