Rick was one of the biggest dreamers and believers in a better life for all that I have ever met. His mind was like no others, I enjoyed hearing the way he wanted everyone to feel involved, accepted, loved. Ricky Witt was not just someone next door, nor someone who will be forgotten. I still hear his laugh, his voice. Rick, your vision of a peaceful future for all living beings will be continued. We had so much in common. I miss you, Rick. I know so many do as well.

I knew Ricky from the Men's Ministry at Lifegate  Papillion, and he was a really nice fellow.  He had thoughtful comments to share on the subjects being discussed.  I enoyed being in Men's group with him and hearing of the many business ideas he was looking into. My sincere condolences to his family.

I got to know Ricky at our men's Bible study, and some things I learned in the brief time I knew him were, Ricky loved Jesus, loved people, and loved making a difference with his life. You will be missed, friend.

I've known Ricky for a couple of years through a men's group that meets on Friday mornings at Christ Community Church.  Many have already expressed better than I can the passion that Ricky would bring to something he cares about, but I can attest to the validity of that.  It is also no surprise to read notes from other people of various churches that had the shared experience of meeting Ricky and his passions.   Of late we'd even spent some extra time talking before meetings about life's struggles and triumphs to be realized.  Such a passionate and thoughtful man who cared deeply about his family...

I moved to Omaha about a year ago and met Ricky at a ccc men's group.  The one thing that really stood out about him was his drive and passion to make the world a better place.  This drive made a huge impact on me.  
Ricky was a selfless guy full of energy, kindness, and a passion to make a difference.  He was one of the rare people who allow themselves to dream big and pursue those dreams.  He often spoke about this passion and put a huge effort in trying to help those who were suffering from depression.  I'm so sad to lose a friend.

My deepest condolences to the family. I've really got to know Ricky in the past few months at our men's group at church. Always had great conversations with him. He will be deeply missed.

One of the first people I met at a new school. So fun, funny and a good friend to all. My mom even got to know him when he worked at Hinky Dinky. I bet he was their BEST employee.  What a wonderful human.

So sorry for this news. Ricky was faithful to  be apart of men’s group and to bring Charles to church whenever he could.

You could tell he was a good son and was always working to help those in need. Ricky will be missed.

Glad I could get to know Ricky  from our Men's  group on Wednesday nights. Appreciated his  heart and desire to help others.

I will always appreciate his expression to do so and the memory of it.
