She was a native of Wayne County, Michigan before moving to Nebraska in 1968. She was a wife of 66-years and a loving mother and grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Benjamin and Jennie Cain Umfleet; Son, Robert; Siblings, Annabelle Farris, Benjamin Umfleet, Lois Buckner; Great-Grandson, Waylon Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Robert N. Buckner; Children, Terri Jen, Chuck (Carla), Susan (Jim) Jones all of Nebraska. Brother, Paul Umfleet of Michigan, Grandchildren, Benjamin (Morgan) Jones, Audrey (Will) Davis, Mason and Camrynn Buckner of Nebraska, Bethany Cosentino of California and Ronee Smith (Stephen Olson) of Colorado and multiple great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Mary will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, with a funeral service at 12:00PM. A burial will occur at Cedar Dale Cemetery, Papillion, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the family.
