Colonel Lee Warren was a boss, mentor, and friend to all of us who worked for him.  We benefited from his wisdom and his extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance.  He challenged his troops to excel, and they responded.  He proved his leadership during the first Gulf War when we deployed our maintainers to locations around the globe while still supporting the 24/7 mission of the Looking Glass.  He left his mark on the US Air Force and all of us who learned life's lessons from one of the best!

I  looked forward to seeing Lee when I worked evenings at Block.  Always congenial, he was a great resource for tax questions.  In time I became friends with Judy and him, and we enjoyed times at the farm and at his home.  He gave me a guided tour of Offutt.  I will miss baking pumpkin pies for him.

Judy, I am so sorry for your loss. If there is anything I can help with let me know. We only see each other at the Y, but I have gotten to know you and your husband through conversations at swim class. My prayers will include you and your family.     Terri Trummer

I worked daily with Lee when he was at the 55th Wing here at Offutt. He was a true professional. A joy to work with. Comrade at arms. Proud to have served with him. God speed to him. God bless you Judith and all your family.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Although I did not know Mr Warren, I have heard a bit about him from my co-worker and friend (Deborah Warren).  He sounds like a soul that will be horribly missed.  I also just want to thank him & your family for your devoted service to our country.
