Dave worked as a math teacher at Beadle Middle School, retiring in 2021. He always loved to go to Husker games, whether they were good or not. He loved coaching his children in sports, playing golf, basketball, and volleyball. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July and lighting off thousands of fireworks.
He loved the outdoors, taking care of his yard, grilling food no matter the temperature, and eating his kids leftovers. His dogs were always important to him, especially his latest dog, Katie.
Dave loved his family very much, especially his children, Jake and Kylee, which he was most proud of. He said his kids were his best accomplishment.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Doris, his niece, Jessica.
He is survived by his children Jake and Kylee, Brothers Terry (Ginny), John (Ibby), Steve (Karen). Many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Viewing will be 10am Monday, November 7th, 2022 at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, with funeral to follow at 11am. Interment at Cedardale Cemetery, Papillion, Nebraska.
