Alex touched so many lives and made a difference in this world. It is heart breaking to lose a child like this but know he is the arms of God, Barney and all that went before him. Mascarello Prayers coming your way

I have so many fond memories of Alex from our time growing up together. He introduced me to one of his first loves, Husker football, by taking me to my first game with his dad. We practiced our golf game with wiffle balls in his backyard and dunked basketballs in a hoop in his basement, played Predator basketball together and high school golf together. We spent a week as roomies at basketball camp in Hastings. Through all the years he was always a great friend, caring and considerate of everyone. It is so hard to imagine he is gone and even harder to understand, but I'm so grateful for the pleasure I had knowing him and calling him my friend. I'll remember you always, Alex. Rest easy, buddy.
