Mary C. Welch

Mary C. Welch, age 94, passed away November 19, 2021. Widow of Thomas P.J. Welch. Mary is survived by her twin sister, Ann Breckenridge; her children, Thomas (Pam) Welch and Jim Welch, daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Theresa) O’Donnell, Patricia Bitzberger, Mrs. Wm. (Suzanne) Person, Mrs. Robert (Dororthy) McGuire. Predeceased by daughter, Mary Lou Cordivari. Mary had 26 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

Mary was a passionate golfer and gardener. Mary was a Philadelphia Horticulture Society Flower Show judge and an active Girl Scout leader back in the day as well as the president of the Springfield Garden Club. Mary was an awesome mother, wife, daughter, aunt, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all those who she loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Mass, Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, Springfield, PA. Burial will be private, and there will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to ACS St. Jude Children’s Hospital or American Cancer Society in memory of Mary.
