John "Jack" Reed Stover

Jack was born on February 10, 1935 to parents, John & Elizabeth Stover in Lester, Pennsylvania.

Jack served in the National Guard and was a graduate of Drexel University. He earned his CPA and was a Corporate Controller at the Franklin Institute. He was an avid member of the Financial Executive Institute.

In Jack’s free time, he enjoyed watching sports, doing puzzles and researching the family tree.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, John & Elizabeth Stover, and his son, John Stover Jr.

Jack is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maryann Stover, his daughter, Sandy (Jim) Matthias, his son, Randy (Maire) Stover and Daughter-in-law, Jodi Stover. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lee (Katie) Stover, Lexi Stover, Dan (Whitney) Matthias, David Matthias, Marisa Matthias, Randy Stover Jr., Matt Stover, Patty Stover, Katie Stover, and his great-granddaughter, Hazel Grace Matthias.

A memorial service will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church (203 N Valley Forge Rd, Devon, PA 19333) on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11:30AM.
