Darlene S. Daniels

DECEMBER 26, 1951 – OCTOBER 10, 2023

Darlene S. (Roscioli) Daniels of Devon, PA daughter of Clement & Viola Roscioli was born in Bryn Mawr on December 26, 1951 and passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at age 71. Darlene is predeceased by her granddaughter Lauren Robb, her parents Clement & Viola Roscioli, her sister Bonnie MacLennan and several best friends. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Michael D. Daniels, daughters Carolyn (David) Governanti & Elizabeth (Edward) Robb, son Nicholas Daniels, brother Joseph Roscioli, and granddaughter - mommom’s best little buddy and absolute love of her life - Sadie Governanti.

Darlene was the brightest light in any room she entered. Her energy and zest for life was truly extraordinary. Darlene has impacted so many lives near and far with her huge giving heart and unlimited acts of kindness. She would do anything to help anyone and was her happiest when helping others.

Darlene was a very talented seamstress who was taught everything she learned in the basement of her childhood home by her beloved mother. After retiring from her sewing world, she then joined the Prestige Salon family as an assistant. Darlene worked side by side with her daughter Carolyn for many years. Talking to people was Darlene’s specialty and she made a lasting impression on anyone who was blessed to know her.

Darlene had many hobbies which included supporting her husband in their successful family run automotive repair business for many years. She spent countless days at Maple Grove Raceway watching her husband and son drag race, which quickly developed into the drag race – loving family that it is today. She loved cooking for large groups and watching people enjoy her culinary creations. Darlene loved her gardening projects, tablescape creations and thoroughly enjoyed interior decorating. She was incredibly creative, had an eye for perfection and loved sharing her talents with her family and friends. She had an incredible ability to create masterpieces based on anyone’s initial thought or idea. Her craft was truly unmatched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing at Alleva Funeral Home (1724 E Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301) on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

A viewing at Sacred Heart Chapel at Our Lady of the Assumption Church (35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, PA 19087) will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. A funeral mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church (35 Old Eagle School Rd, Strafford, PA 19087) will occur on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM. The Interment will be at Limerick Garden of Memories at 44 E. Arcadia Drive (formerly Swamp Pike), Limerick, PA 19468.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of her granddaughter, Lauren Robb at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Checks made out to CHOP Foundation can be mailed to P.O.
